Hospital Clinic of Barcelona is one of the main university public healthcare providers in the city, with a long tradition of internationally recognized research and a total capacity of 905 beds. After implementing Inpeco automation within the Core Lab, which significantly reduced in-lab inefficiencies, the hospital decided to focus on the remaining threat vector represented by pre-analytical errors.
Today, the hospital operates a total of 163 ProTube™ units installed across the phlebotomy centers and hospital wards, supporting standardized and traceable sample collection and transportation throughout the facility.
